ibrutinib is one of the secondary metabolites isolated from the roots of the plant egleolus multiflorus (houtt.) bourillon, which is found in many mediterranean countries such as italy, spain, morocco, algeria and morocco. the source of this plant has been used by many phytotherapists for the treatment of cancer since more than twenty years.
the constituents of the above-mentioned plant have been well studied on the basis of their chemical structure and biological activities. it has been established that ibrutinib has in vitro anticancer activity against some cancer cells (choo et al., 2015). however, its low solubility and acidity have limited its application. the present study aimed to formulate a solid dispersion of ibrutinib with peg 6000 as a solubility enhancer and ph modifier to improve its physicochemical properties. the preparation of the solid dispersion was done by the one-step procedure. peg 6000, peg 4000 and the drug were dissolved in ethanol as solvent for the drug dissolution. the formulation was evaluated for in vitro ibrutinib solution solubility, peg 6000 solubility, and dissolution rate. the peg 6000 content was observed by fourier transform infrared (ftir) spectroscopy.
this research project involved the development of a commercially practical and high-fidelity metal cutting simulation for the improvement of safety, control, and performance of metal cutting operations. the program was developed using an exclusive processing unit that is capable of dealing with the dynamic computation of the real-time process of the metal cutting in a form of a high-fidelity 3d graphic environment. the main features of this new metal cutting simulation program include the task-based interface, 3d visualization, and the cutting algorithm for the effect of cutting speed on machining quality. the higher the cutting speed, the lower the ability of the cutting edge in holding the cutting force. this study also showed that machine’s tools are worn more rapidly at lower cutting speeds. in terms of the material removal rate, the results from cutting simulations using fem parameters of cnc were in good agreement with cnc predictions and the high accuracy of machining simulation is calculated. this results suggest that the cutting simulation model is able to predict cutting performance at a high degree of machining accuracy.
