Students will learn to analyze written texts for their linguistic characteristics. Students will be introduced to phonemic awareness and the concept of a sound structure unit, and they will learn the correct way of analyzing a text. Students will also learn how to write effective paragraphs. They will be prepared for test-taking using grammatical and essay-writing exercises.
