Stepping Stones is a licenced, state-of-the-art childcare and pre-school centre with an impeccable reputation. The project that started in Fgura in 2006 has now added Birkirkara (January 2011) and Qawra (June 2011) to its chain.

Stepping Stones facilities operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.  

Ages: from 3 MONTHS to 5 YEARS
(Tiny Hands Art Classes from 3 to 8 years)

In parallel with our childcare services we have introduced kindergarten classes 1 and 2. Children at Stepping Stones are given individual attention. Progress is monitored on a daily basis and discussed with the parents.

We operate in line with EU Regulations for both the structure and operation of childcare facilities, as certified by the Department of Social Welfare. 

Our pre-school services provide your child with a sound foundation to start primary school without fear or tantrums. The benefits are clear. Children start making friends and acquire socialisation skills in a friendly, playful and educational environment. They have plenty of fun at Stepping Stones, and by the age of five, they will be well-prepared to attend primary school.

Childcare involves more than just babysitting and keeping children safe. It involves the holistic development of children, which includes their social, emotional and physical development.

High quality childcare motivates children to learn through playful activities such as arts and crafts, cooking and gardening. During the hot summer days the children have the opportunity to play in an outdoor fresh-water pool under protective canopies.

With our varied programmes, each day children are learning something new with well-planned and purposeful activities.
