Preschool

Preschool children develop their learning through play and a lot of messy and creative activities. There are a wide range of toys and equipment so that children’s individual needs are met. Children are encouraged to experiment with a wide range of different textures and creative equipment to help them foster creativity at an early age.

 Curriculum guidance for the foundation stage sets out six areas of learning:

  •  Personal, social and emotional development;
  •  Communication, language and literacy
  •  Knowledge & understanding of the world
  •  Physical development
  •  Creative development

Pre schoolers Time Table

  • Daily morning Routine                                                    
  • 9.00am - 9.30am singing time + musical instruments (circle time)
  • 9.30am – 10am activity (changes every day)
  • 10 am – 10.30am lunch break/ nappy changing
  • 10.30am – 11.15am outdoor playing area free play
  • 11.15am – 11.45am eating
  • 11.45am – 12pm puppet show/story telling
  • 12.15pm – 12.45pm blocks and table top activities flashcards/ threading/ dressing up/playdough
  • 12.45pm nap time

*Potty training every 15 minutes

Weekly activity

  • Monday = Painting and play dough
  • Tuesday= Collage and creative arts
  • Wednesday = Coloring + cooking
  • Thursday = snap snap time +Dressing up activity
  • Friday = Painting and dancing
