I’m running windows 10 with the updates disabled, and when I restore the updates now, some patch is missing. Then I cannot log in into windows. Restoring the update and reenabled the updates also does not work.I tried fixing it by manually deleting the update files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, but that does not work.
I just did a search for games on the Store. And found the new Microsoft Solitaire Collection. I installed a game and was satisfied until a few days later I noticed that I was paying for the Windows Store app and not the game. I chose uninstall but it shows that it is trying to uninstall the game.I found some places where people were receiving similar messages and it has been fixed. But I’d still like to have the new Solitaire Collection.
I have an older version of the game installer and have installed games using that. I tried to update to the current version of the installer, but that resulted in a Failed to install Windows Store app error message.I reinstalled the older version of the Game installer.
I am in need of help. The game works fine on my machine for a week or so before it stops playing sound. When I boot up, I get the sound at first and then its gone. I restart, and I get sound again and the game is just fine. (Sound is intermittent most of the time, but present at all times.) This is one of the few games that do this. I have updated the sound card drivers. I’ve updated my machine to update the windows. My sound works okay. It’s working for other programs. On the test page it says no issues. Audio driver is installed and updated. the game is test. I have flash. Windows 10 and the Windows updates are disabled.
