This set includes the F-89 with four missiles on the wings and two missiles in the fuselage. Falcon missiles are realistic flares with a glowing tip and accurate towing. They do not come with a lock-on radar sensor. -Falcon missiles are played differently when compared to the previous ones. Because the fins are static on the missiles, they will spin around the centre of the missile when the missile is in flight. The missiles require no lock-on radar for targeting, and cannot distinguish between multiple targets. The missiles have a predetermined set flight path and can be used for long range engagements. -Added the ability to arm the aircraft with warhead packs of all types of bombs. All bombs have real firing mechanisms and realistic damage on impact and bleed-off resulting in various amount of drop. All bombs have a proximity fuse. -Added abilities to shoot down aerial targets with air to air missiles with preset locations and/or radar locks, as well as engage ground targets with missiles. -Added ability to mount the warhead packs onto the aircraft wings and fuselage. -Added ability to effectively arm the aircraft with a quadruple AA gun pack, as well as load the aircraft with multiple rockets instead of single rockets. -Hedging and strafing are now more realistic. -Added push to throttle for precise guided and unguided weapons, as well as altitude hold and ballistic missiles. -Fixed the rare bug that may lead to loss of joystick control. -Fixed minor bugs that may have occurred due to changes with the interface and the new gameplay. -Fixed the rare bug that may lead to loss of joystick control, as well as minor bugs that may have occurred due to changes with the interface and the new gameplay. -Fixed minor bugs that may have occurred due to changes with the interface and the new gameplay. -Fixed the rare bug that may lead to loss of joystick control.

What’s new in FSX Steam Edition: Northrop F-89 Scorpion Add-On:

s Posted by: 06.08.2005 at 08:10 PM I have successfully installed and configured a reasonably new (2001+) default P3DSE Steam Edition installation with recent F-16C demos, all happening without noticeable errors or crashes. F-16x engines and airframe do play fine (for now…), all weapons and effects load/play fine, skins load/play fine, and the game does not register or read any key-bindings nor mouse controls while it is busy/processing (was this a bug in other SEs or have I disabled this with good reason?). Anyway here are what I am missing: Standard Weapons for the F-16 in ALL variants that come with the game: VB, RAD, ASL, ASM/ASR, ARM, MPT, AA-8, AIM, AIM-L. Havok F-16 AI. Havok F-16 AI with advanced flight mechanics (RHS/PAWS, Kneeboard, etc) with the option to move all jet controls with the mouse. Havok F-16 AI with advanced flight mechanics (RHS/PAWS, Kneeboard, etc) and user-setable display-in-cockpit. +There can be a “How-to” with VB, RAD or ASL filters, drop down menus, smart cuts, whiteboard and misc useful fx (like vortexes, contrails, explosions/debris, trails) or similar with the dual display active, user-setable and visible with the X-Display command in the main screen. By the way, here are a few pics of what you get for free with the initial DE demo: Wow. I think this thread “just went by too fast” for everyone. I wonder why the poster did the thread make it to the first page, but I wanted to thank everyone for helping get the info out, and support this great new project. I sent a PM to the creators, and am interested to see if they make a follow-up to this thread. Quote: Originally Posted by web2nus Awesome so many good ideas. The mk41 mods sound really good.
