you can also use the prepar3d client installer to upgrade to 4.0.28.21686 from 3.27.2907. as always, the prepar3d client installer is very easy to use and does not require any special privileges. for more details, please see the support page.
when the prepar3d client installer opens, select any sim cameras available on the yellow slider timeline during replay. the available cameras for selection include the categories ( cockpit / external / showcase ) and the camera detailed listing for that category (all pilots views, instruments views and external views). only your custom cameras you may have set yourself are not currently supported, but all the default cameras of the simulators are.
if you are updating the same machine and you want to continue to use prepar3d after updating, you must deactivate prepar3d first before you can reactivate it. you can deactivate prepar3d by selecting the p4d option from the p4d tab on the prepar3d tool window. this will create a backup of your saved games. if you are simply updating, you will be prompted to reactivate prepar3d after the update process is finished and you click ok.
prepare3d v4.3 is now available and is available for download! if you missed last week’s release you can find it here. that release was already available for download as well, so if you are already a prepar3d v4 user, this will be an easy update for you.
