the error generated is nearly universal across products. yeah, id agree its good to see he resolved the issue. as usual, zwift and others did it correctly with their updates, which does indicate their testing process is good. i just dont see the point of zwift charging for training plans. why would you need them? they can easily be recreated, or at least for most users who can read a map and start in the right direction with their workout planned out ahead of time. it feels like it should be a free option and pay for the content you use and not the plan you download. ive tried many trainers, not only did zwift get it wrong, but so did a few others as well. i think the sufferfest gets an a+ for doing a good job with their training plans and strategy videos (as well as their work on their map, workout and website). they almost have it perfected and i love the fact that they offer it free to those who just dont have the money to invest into the system.
the zwift subscription isn’t going to go anywhere, and neither is any other bikes apps. if you do really want to just ride zwift with a trainer, then it’s probably the most accessible option, which is why it will be around for years to come. the biggest difference in bkool rouvy versus the tacx training apps is that it only works with the tacx trainers, which lets you mix your bike, trainer and heart rate strap in one remote control and if you want to. its still not quite as good as the actual tacx trainer software in my opinion, and i would still encourage you to check out zwift, bkool rouvy and tacx trainer app separately. sometimes a trainer software offer isnt an app download, and can only be done using its interface. it doesnt seem like a game to me that has a camera on my iphone or android that i use to track my health and compete with others.
