This is a great support pack. Two grenades, two support items. It’s nice to have the stuff in the DLC available after the main game is completed. The Caustic Bomb is one of my favorite things. Great idea, great graphics, great music. What is lacking is more features. More proper PvE content, especially in the form of side-quests. I’m not a hardcore gamer. I play about 4 hours a week. This has really been my only “play” time in the last two years. However, I did get the game earlier this year and I played it once and it wasn’t a huge fit for me. Although not the best DLC, the waste walkers are in some ways my favorite faction. The PvP is fun and the game has lots of things to do. It’s almost like a standard PvP game with an RPG angle. If you like having a full environment, you might want to pass on this DLC. If you like the idea of a sandbox PvP game, this might be for you. : Review! Welcome to this very short review video to kick off the Season Pass for one of the best Indie games I’ve played this past year! The game is called Upheaval, and it’s an intense, first person experience in the style of games like Portal. Unfortunately, the game wasn’t quite ready and was soon pulled off the market for unknown reasons. It left some of us, such as myself, without their promised content. However, after purchasing this awesome Season Pass for only $3.99 (I’m amazing!) before release, I was able to get some of the bonus content. That’s a pretty solid value for $3.99. Less than $10, and I was surprised at the content, as my other DLC This War of Mine was $7.99, and included an extremely short video and not much more than leveling options. Waste Walkers give gamers a few accessories, including the skull helmet (which looks really badass), and a black one. The helmet itself will explode in your face but adds a surprise aspect to the game. One downside to this Season Pass is that it does not include a map of the game, but only a simply level 4. Is this scary? One thing that I did notice, and didn’t with the previous one, was that this time, there was no button for a safe route to grab a bunch of loot from my enemies. It looked like there was an on-screen button for the safe route, but it never appeared. The Season Pass also gives you a choice between three classes in the game, including a scout, warrior, and an engineer. The map is even fully playable if you have just the map and no god mode. The level and environment are unlike anything I’ve ever tried to a game before, and it’s a blast. The enemy designs are like a cross between Minecraft and Borderlands. I tend to prefer the more precise gameplay in this setting that there not as many big monsters and things like that. Also, this is NOT the snarky Savage or Dreadful trope, this is simply a throwback to the 80s horror movies and games. The entire setting reminds me of The Evil Dead or its many sequels.
